Its not cheap at £3.50 (!!!) but is sooooooo cute!
I bought it for my niece’s birthday…but I’m afraid its just too cute and is sat next to me at work!
BTW…It’s from Marks & Spencers 🙂
Nope I am not referring to decadent organic chocolate, but to some lovely bunting I have just made for a new customer. My customer wanted bunting to go over her kitchen window, in colours to go with her black worktops and zingy green walls. I asked what other accent colours she had in the room, and she has pink jug that she loves….sooooo….. this is what we came up with!
It’s at times like this that I really appreciate my massive fabric stash. . .and the great excuse to get stuck in and try different fabric combinations…
I hope you all agree that the finished bunting looks fab! There is some Tanya Whelan Darla rose fabric in there, some Cath Kidston small floral, and some lovely Grace & Favour spotty cottons. At first I thought the black would be too harsh, but with a black fridge and black worktops….it could really tie in well. Fingers crossed! Can’t wait to see a customer photo!

Well..due to other stuff going on, I’ve only just watched this weeks great british bakeoff… #GBBO NUMBER 2, this weeks theme being biscuits.
• Signature bake was savoury biscuits. All pretty good…
• Technical challenge was florentines..not my favourite biccie.
• Showstopper challenge was a 3D biscuit structure/scene. I was impressed with several of these…. the dragon, pirate, ski mountain and carousel were all excellent… some others a bit uninspiring, some too messy and others just too basic!
Again..like last week..
I think the right baker went home.
